The Binnaway Progress Association received
a grant of $11,000 from DOTARS (Department of Transport And Regional Services)
for a feasibility study for a Caravan Park, the study recommended to apply
for a further grant to build an 11 bay Caravan Park, including the Tennis
courts, renovating the club house to make a unit for a caretaker.
A Skate Park has recently been placed on the sports oval grounds after lots of hard work by all the children from around town. The children had a car wash fundraiser and many other events to raise the money for the Skatepark. The rest of the money needed for the Skatepark was received by a grant from the Department of Sport And Recreation. Many thanks to all the volunteers and people who donated materials and time for the Skatepark.
